About Market Saga

An independent stock market education platform built for Indian retail traders and investors.

Our mission

Market Saga exists to make Indian capital markets less intimidating. Most retail investors in India enter the market through tips, telegram groups, or YouTube hype cycles — and learn risk management only after losing money. We think there is a better way.

We publish long-form, jargon-light explainers on options trading, IPOs, money management, and trading psychology — written by practitioners, reviewed for factual accuracy, and grounded in SEBI-regulated reality. We do not give buy or sell calls, we do not run a paid community, and we do not sell a course. Our only goal is that you finish a Market Saga article more informed than you started it.

Editorial process

How every Market Saga article is researched, written, reviewed, and kept current.

Research

Every article begins with primary sources — SEBI circulars, RHP/DRHP documents, exchange filings, and reputable financial data providers. We do not rewrite news; we synthesise concepts.

Drafting

Drafts are written by practitioners who have personally traded the instruments they explain. Concepts are introduced from first principles before any jargon is used.

Review

A second editor reviews each piece for factual accuracy, regulatory correctness (Indian context), and balance — every claim about returns, risk, or strategy must be qualified.

Update

Articles are revisited when SEBI rules, tax laws, or instrument structures change. The "Updated" date on each article reflects the most recent factual review.

The team behind Market Saga

We are a small editorial team of active market practitioners. Author bylines and individual credentials are rolling out across the site — every long-form piece will identify its author by name, role, and LinkedIn profile.

Editorial Lead

Sets the content roadmap, reviews every long-form article, and owns factual accuracy. Background: active equity and derivatives trader in Indian markets.

IPO Analyst

Tracks the SEBI IPO pipeline end-to-end, reads RHP/DRHP filings, and writes the analyst review for each upcoming issue on our /ipo section.

Trading Psychology Contributor

Writes on mindset, risk discipline, and behavioural pitfalls. Draws on a decade of personal trading experience and reading in behavioural finance.
